Kumpulan Senireka




After Graduating from Birmingham ; Dato' Seri started with Malaysia's Public Work Department (PWD) between 1962 and 1973. It was during his service here that he has been entrusted with some prestigious projects by the government , there designing Bank Negara Malaysia's Headquartersand the Prime Minister complex.

In 1973, he left PWD and became a partner in a British architectural firm, Raglan Squire and Patners(RSP) in Singapore and at the same time set up Kumpulan Senireka in Kuala Lumpur. In 1975, he left RSP Singapore and devoted his entire time and energy to Kumpulan Senireka where he remained until today. In 1991 the firm became a limited company -Kumpulan Senireka SendirianBerhad. The firm grew steadily and today it has a total staff complement of 76. This includes 28 professional staff.

As the principal of the firm, he is directly and personally involved with all aspects of design, design development, project management and client liaison of each of his individual projects including the co-ordination of all professionals within each project team. Some of the major works under his personal charge are the Arab Malaysian Development Bank Headquarters Building, the Islamic Complex, the Kuala Lumpur Telecommunications Tower, the National University Chancellery and Administrative buildings and Faculty of Economics and Management and the National Unit Trust Fund Headquarters Building (PNB Building).

In 1996, the firm won a limited competition to design the 40-storey Islamic Bank Headquarters Building in Kuala Lumpur and the Mosque for the new Federal Capital (Putrajaya).
